Spanish phrase of the week - ¡Vamos a Costa Rica! - Let's go to Costa Rica!
About Me
I attended Troy State University on an academic scholarship after graduating from Guntersville High School in 1994. There, I was a member of Chi Omega sorority, several honor societies, and I also danced on the University Dance team. In 1997, I transferred to Jacksonville State University and graduated in 2000 with a degree in Spanish Education. I finished my Master's degree in 2007 from Auburn University. I have taught for 9 years at Douglas High School where I was an ACCESS distance learning teacher from the time the pilot program was installed, and this is my second year at GHS, where I am a class sponsor, danceline and colorguard sponsor and faculty advisor for the Spanish National Honor Society and Spanish Club.
I have studied Spanish in Mexico and took a group of students to Spain in 2006 and incorporate my love of Spanish culture into my classroom teaching. I hope your child enjoys my class as much as I enjoy teaching it.
